Watershed Geo Celebrates Bryan Jacob on Selection to IGEL Class of 2026

Bryan Jacob

Atlanta, GA — February 4, 2026 — Watershed Geo proudly congratulates Vice President of Sustainability, Bryan Jacob, on his selection to the Institute for Georgia Environmental Leadership (IGEL) Class of 2026, a highly competitive program that brings together leaders from across Georgia to address the state’s most pressing environmental challenges.

The IGEL Class of 2026 is composed of a diverse cohort of professionals representing industry, government, academia, nonprofits, advocacy organizations, and civic institutions. Selected through a rigorous process, participants are recognized for their leadership potential, commitment to collaboration, and dedication to informed environmental decision-making.

Over the next year, Bryan will join fellow cohort members in four immersive, place-based sessions across Georgia. These sessions will engage leaders with experts, communities, and peers to explore the complex intersections of environment, economy, and community while strengthening leadership skills rooted in listening, dialogue, and collaboration across differences.

“I’ve been familiar with the IGEL program since its inception 25 years ago. IGEL is truly a trailblazing initiative,” said Jacob. “I’m honored to be part of the 2026 cohort and look forward to both the immersive experience this year and ongoing collaboration in years to come.”

As a member of the Class of 2026, Bryan joins a distinguished network of more than 650 IGEL alumni who are actively shaping Georgia’s environmental future across sectors and communities.

“Bryan’s selection reflects his leadership, integrity, and commitment to thoughtful environmental stewardship,” said Mike Ayers, CEO Watershed Geo. “We are proud to support his participation in IGEL and confident that the experience will further strengthen his impact for our clients, partners, and communities.”
